Seeking Stable Funding for our Libraries

To address ongoing and increasing challenges related to funding shortages and the rising costs of daily operations, infrastructure, technology and programming, the Town of Bedford libraries -- Bedford Free Library, Bedford Hills Free Library and Katonah Village Library -- are seeking stable and sustainable funding consistent with the service demands of Town residents. Towards that end, a proposition to provide guaranteed annual funding for the three libraries will be on the ballot on November 4th. If approved by our community, the new funding will replace what the Town currently provides to the libraries in its annual budget.
